I just gave Elle the best response I could, but I doubt that it is worthy of the patience you’ve had with me. I’m limited by my ability to express myself, as well as the quality of my ideas. The source of my skepticism is rooted in my experience of my own sexuality, which leads me to believe that many of the examples of “non sexual behavior” are sexually motivated. It’s a difficult and unfamiliar task to discuss something like that in writing even if it’s for as important a cause as intellectual honesty.
