I just jotted off a few thought so please don’t be put off by the tone: It’s very hard to conduct “reputable” research on psychedelics, although that’s changing now thanks to activism. The patent application was almost certainly intentionally written as broadly as the patent office would allow since it covers more potential products that way. Either the product can’t be sold in which case there can be no “marketing hype” or the product can eventually be sold in which case it makes sense to file a patent. Time will tell if Stamets is onto something good. One noteworthy thing about both Lion’s Mane and Psilocybe Cubensis is that they are very inexpensive to manufacture. I suspect that we will all become saturated in Lion’s Mane extracts as they become a staple of workout supplements the way creatine has done. Creatine Monohydrate undoubtedly works but taking it isn’t exactly life changing. Based on my personal experience I highly recommend lion’s mane and I’m optimistic about the news I hear about psilocin from the body hacking community.
