I strenuously object to the tone of this article: alarmist, conclusory, unscientific, and immoral. People with unhealthy and antisocial sexual urges are not guilty of a crime based on their status. They are entitled to all the protections of society as long as they obey the law. The moral response is to understand the underlying biological mechanism and bring technology to bear on fixing these problems. Shaming people based on status rather than actions will only make it harder to understand and control these unwanted sexual impulses. The above has been said better, but given the emotional nature of the topic I feel compelled to raise my booming heterosexual voice on this matter of principle, since others may be afraid to speak out.
