I think you do a disservice to feminism. Like any explanatory theory (capitalism, Marxism, etc.) it had to be invented and did not exist prior to its invention. Like psychology, it provides a useful perspective and vocabulary for partially describing the world. Unfortunately, we don’t use psychology in our daily life as much as appropriate some of its diagnostic terms to use as epithets. So to with feminism. Eventually the word “Male” will be banned from schools like the word “retarded”, but the ugly aspects of a society that puts more value on domination and control than on collaboration and freedom will remain intact.
