I think you’re right. My theory is that he had a female client once who told him she regretted waiting until she was 40 to have children. I honestly think it was one Toronto lawyer back in 1997 and I think he’s generalized his entire theory of mate selection from her.

It’s hard for me to see how Jordan Peterson could be doing more harm than good. (although it’s an empirical question and for all I know he might be.) People have been having long-term romantic relationships with multiple partners since the beginning of time.
