If I’d noticed this was part of your ongoing “gentlemen series” I would have looked at it differently. However, the real mystery is the people who have enjoyable anal sex with strangers in airports, truck stops, and bath houses.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t have written the article. It’s just strange to me that so many men in the 1950’s managed to figure this stuff out without, 1) specialized equipment, lubricants or condoms 2) Internet information resources 3) Time to get to know each-other. Clearly, something very mysterious was going on because as your article highlights, things can go seriously wrong in this context. Wouldn’t you like to know how these things were accomplished?
