It’s useful to be reminded that men have an important role in childcare! It’s true, having a supportive partner reduces the strain of parenting on a persons career, but don’t discount the physical and emotional demands of bringing a baby to term. A single pregnancy takes the better part of a year, and some people give birth multiple times. Putting the blame on “men” is fine on a societal scale, but for an individual women it’s trivializes her actual struggle. Imagine he walking around a Target saying: “Feeling stressed?”, “guess what? The father of your child is a jerk!” It’s just not a useful or accurate way to address a working mother.
