Samantha, I think Louis’ comment works best as a satirical summary of the “tone” of article rather than as a point by point refutation of the items. None of the 20 “suggestions” are bad, but the overall piece reads more like a list of grievances than a sincere attempt to educate and persuade. If a women says to me: “My friend, would it not be a better world if tampons were made as freely available as toilet paper?” I respond with a resounding “Yes!” and then offer her one from the emergency reserve I keep in my backpack.
