Sense of humor is a little bit like the ability to distinguish colors or tones, Some otherwise normal people don’t have those abilities. If I had to guess I would say it was about a third of people.

With no sense of humor, every joke gets put into either the category of nonsense or mockery intended to lower somebody’s social status.

Given all the population bottlenecks our ancestors have gone through, it’s a miracle we haven’t lost this capacity all together. 😅
